In 1952 the Yardley Aces were cycle speedway champions, having learned to race on an old tennis court behind the pub. Today's clubs ask rather less of your knees.
Times come from the Parish Council's published lists and a horseshoe means someone has checked with the club. We don't reprint volunteers' home numbers without asking: the Parish Council has them on its activities list and children's groups list.
